In the Community
WATCH works to increase awareness of and access to mental health services in Denton County. We bring awareness to the community in a variety of ways:
- Offering free children’s mental health educational materials at community events and Back to School Fairs
- Offering free CEU WATCH Wellness Workshops covering a variety of children’s mental health topics
- Hosting a Children’s Feelings Are a Work of Art – Youth Art Contest every year and showcasing artwork from the contest at an Art Gallery
- Maintaining a website that shares children’s mental health resources for Kids & Teens, Parents & Caregivers, and Professionals
- Participating in children’s mental health awareness campaigns, such as the Okay to Say Campaign
- Offering a blog dedicated to topics on children’s mental health
