The Wellness Alliance for Total Children’s Health (WATCH) of Denton County is a collaboration of both public and private organizations and individuals who are invested in the total wellness of Denton County’s children. WATCH members and partners work to increase awareness of and access to mental health services in Denton County.

Family Tree Program
The Family Tree Program provides family counseling at no cost to families in Denton and Dallas Counties. (Administered by CCD Counseling PA).
The Family Tree Program generally provides family counseling to families who are experiencing change in life circumstances, school issues, behavioral issues, communication breakdowns, grief, and general family struggles. If your family would benefit from family counseling please contact our Denton or Dallas Case Managers to discuss your needs.

Cook Children’s Medical Center – Denton Behavioral Health Clinic
Cook Children’s Behavioral Health provides a broad range of care that focuses on children from age 2 to 18 and their families. We provide outpatient therapy to children and families. Services also include psychological and neuropsychological testing. All of our psychologists and therapists are licensed independently in the state of Texas.

University Behavioral Health Denton
Serving North Texas and surrounding areas, UBH Denton has provided a range of programs treating mental health illnesses and substance abuse issues since 2005. Our inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services offer supportive and compassionate care for adolescents and adults with specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

Connections Wellness Group
A full-service mental health practice, Connections Wellness Group provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual, play, family and couples therapies, and day treatment programs for youth and adults. Services are available in-person and via teletherapy and telemedicine platforms.

Prevention Resource Center (PRC) Region 3, a program of Recovery Resource Council (RRC)
Recovery Resource Council is North Texas’ largest non-profit organization dedicated to prevention, intervention and treatment of alcohol, substance use disorder and behavioral health issues. With campuses in Fort Worth, Dallas and Denton, The Council’s programs impact 110,000 children, adolescents and adults in North Texas counties annually. Our mission is to promote wellness and recovery from alcohol and substance use disorders and trauma.

Denton County Friends of the Family
At Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF) we are dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention. We provide free counseling, advocacy, legal, transitional housing, and shelter services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children. We also provide education to the public through our prevention and education team as well as a Battering Intervention and Prevention Program.
