In honor of Mental Health Month, we encourage the raising of compassionate and empathetic children. Together as a community, we can nurture and support kids who care by recognizing the kindness they show to others.
Share with us a picture of your #icarekid doing something kind,
or tell us how you are helping to raise a community of caring kids!
Mental health and well-being affect every person in our community – especially our kids! And everyone plays a role in developing children’s social and emotional skills, whether you’re a parent, teacher, family member, coach, mentor, or cool family friend. You can help kids become caring, compassionate humans by having a meaningful conversation, doing a service project together, and modeling how to be kind to others.
Take the #icarekid pledge
Post a photo on social media with the hashtag #icarekid! Show us your caring child doing something nice for someone else. Or tell us how you support kids in your community.
Use our Social Media Mini-Kit!
We have created 4 graphics, post language, and recommended resources for you to post on your personal and professional pages. You can also add your organization’s logo to the graphics! Download the mini toolkit and images here.
